Working with clients since the Tikkun Training

If you are a marriage and family therapist, relationship coach, clergy,
family lawyer or mediator, you are invited to attend this three day training
session which will add a new dimension to your work.
Tikkun is intended to enable you to empower your couples to transform
their relationships into a creative force and a "living laboratory" for:
- “Dissolving” rather than resolving problems
- Using relational ‘mistakes’ as a launching pad for success
- Transforming divisiveness into connection
- Becoming increasingly relationally mature
The training is based on the Relational Paradigm**, and is an integration
of Imago Relationship Theory, Appreciative Inquiry, the philosophy of
Martin Buber and Relational Brain Neurobiology.
** The Relational Paradigm is founded on the idea that the essential
nature of human beings is to be in connection, that disconnection
is part of an
adaptive survival pattern, and that we are differentiated and yet interdependent.
The Tikkun training will include:
- The theoretical basis of the Relational Paradigm
- A description of the relational developmental journey and its impact
on the couple's "dance."
- Live demonstrations of relational coaching skills
- Supervised coaching practice sessions
- How to introduce the Relational Paradigm to couples as a transformational
tool
- How to assist couples in raising their "Relational IQ"
- How to empower couples in welcoming the genius that lives in their
relational space
